Every Cup Tells a Story

Know Hemp!

Support the future of hemp in Pennsylvania by making a donation to the PA Hemp Industry Council. Your tax deductible gift directly helps us expand education, build supply chains, and showcase the many sustainable uses of hemp.

As a thank-you, donors who give $50 or more, set up a monthly donation of $5 or more, or join as a member at any level will receive a Midnight Mist Gift Set — a handcrafted collection of hemp-based products that highlight the plant’s potential in everyday life.

What’s Inside

Each set includes small-batch hemp soap, peppermint lip balm, a braided hemp keychain, and compostable swabs — all packaged in a reusable hemp-based industrial compostable cup and home compostable wrap. It’s our way of showing gratitude while demonstrating how hemp can make a real difference for people and the planet.

🌱 Made Here, Grown Here 🌱
This cup is more than a gift — it’s a glimpse of Pennsylvania’s future.

Handcrafted here, built with hemp, and pointing to a day when every piece is truly PA-grown, PA-made.

Hemp Plastic Cup

This plant-based PLA blended with hemp fiber cup is manufactured right here in Pennsylvania by Addisperse. It’s compostable and designed as a renewable alternative to petroleum plastic. Hemp fiber adds strength and texture while keeping the cup lightweight and safe to use. Today, the hemp fiber is sourced from South Dakota — but with local decortication, we can process Pennsylvania hemp for the same purpose and keep every step of the value chain in-state. The cup shows how hemp can help build a more sustainable, circular economy.

Pro tip: After you enjoy your products, reuse the cup! It’s food safe, making it perfect as a rinse/mouthwash cup — and just the right size for toddler snacks.

Hemp Soap

Hand-poured, cut, and wrapped in Pennsylvania using a premium Canadian hemp base, this bar highlights hemp’s natural skin benefits. Hempseed oil is packed with omega fatty acids and vitamin E, which help restore moisture, support elasticity, and soothe dry or sensitive skin. Gentle and plant-powered, this soap is a clean alternative to chemical-heavy products on the market. With the right processing here in Pennsylvania, we can one day make every ingredient — and every bar — truly PA-grown, PA-made.g.

Lip Balm

Made in Pennsylvania with U.S.-grown hempseed oil, this lip balm delivers silky, non-greasy hydration. Hempseed oil provides natural conditioning and contains antioxidants that help protect against environmental stress, while peppermint adds a refreshing, cooling touch. Unlike conventional balms that can feel waxy or rely on petroleum ingredients, this is a natural, plant-based option that cares for you and the planet. With local oilseed pressing, Pennsylvania farmers could supply every drop that goes into balms like these.

Hemp & Cotton Swabs

These swabs feature organic cotton tips on bamboo stems, treated with hemp oil for extra softness and comfort on even the most sensitive skin. While small, they represent the growing trend of using hemp to enhance even the simplest daily essentials. Hemp oil is naturally moisturizing and soothing, making these swabs gentle for skincare or cosmetic use. Though not yet made in Pennsylvania, the potential is clear: with expanded processing, local hemp could provide both the oil and fiber for countless household products.

Braided Hemp Keychain

Durable, lightweight, and timeless, this keychain is braided from natural hemp cord — a simple reminder of hemp’s history and versatility. Hemp fiber is one of the strongest plant fibers in the world, resistant to wear and naturally biodegradable at the end of its life. A small but lasting keepsake, the keychain demonstrates how hemp can replace synthetic materials in everyday products, while also serving as a conversation starter about Pennsylvania’s role in bringing hemp back to daily life.

Sustainable Packaging

Each gift, including the soap and swabs, is wrapped in home-compostable cellulose and cushioned with natural hemp fiber filler. Unlike petroleum-based plastics or foams, both the wrap and filler are plant-based, renewable, and fully compostable. Even the packaging tells a story: that every part of a product, right down to the materials it’s packed in, can be designed with sustainability in mind. By investing in local hemp processing, Pennsylvania can lead the way in creating packaging solutions that reduce waste and return safely to the soil.

The PA  Hemp Story

Cannabinoid Research

Every gift cup tells the story of what’s possible for Pennsylvania hemp.

Thanks to a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, PA Hemp Industry Council is leading a study to map the supply chains our state needs for hemp to thrive. These gifts show why that work matters — and how your support helps turn research into real opportunities for farmers, processors, and makers.

  • The Cup – Made right here in Pennsylvania from plant-based PLA blended with hemp fiber. Today, that fiber comes from South Dakota — but with local processing (called decortication), we can use Pennsylvania hemp in Pennsylvania-made products.
  • The Soap – Hand-poured, cut, and wrapped in Pennsylvania using a high-quality Canadian hemp base. With the right facilities, we could source every ingredient from our own farms.
  • The Lip Balm – Made in Pennsylvania with U.S.-grown hempseed oil. With local oilseed pressing, this too could be 100% PA-made.
  • The Whole Package – Assembled by hand in Pennsylvania, representing the potential of our farmers, processors, and makers to keep more of the hemp economy right here at home.

Your support helps us make that vision real — so one day soon, every item in this cup can proudly say Made in Pennsylvania, from Pennsylvania hemp.

With Gratitude

These gifts are possible thanks to the generosity of our partners, who donated products to help us showcase the power and potential of hemp!

From the soap to the packaging to the cup itself, every piece of this gift tells the story of what hemp can do. With your support, that story can become Pennsylvania’s reality — farms, processors, and makers working together to build a sustainable economy.

Make your donation today and take home a piece of that story.
